You may have been following the history of my home-grown lemon tree, or maybe you just caught this blog after last year's Earth day lemon tree give-away (with a thorough how to grow your trees at home!). In any case, my lemon tree is now more than two years old and is thriving.
In the picture it looks a little wrinkled, but it looks like this from time to time, usually after a sudden leaf growth (as in this case).
It is around 60cm tall (2 feet) and is starting to develop a wider trunk. A small buddy appeared on the right side, as you can see in the picture. We are not sure if we dropped some lemon seed there or it is growing a second trunk. It will be interesting to see how it develops.
